A small group Golden Circle tour After we pick you up at your accommodation in Reykjavík, we start on the Golden Circle part of the tour. Our first stop is the famous Þingvellir National park. Here the Icelandic history and great geological wonders come together in making the place one of the most interesting to see in Iceland. Þingvellir has been on a UNESCO world heritage site since 2004. Next stop is the renown Geysir hot spring area. Here you have an opportunity to walk among the bubbling hot springs, but make sure to stay within the restricted area for your own safety. Make sure not to miss the spouting Strokkur before you leave. Gullfoss, the golden waterfall is the last site on the Golden Circle. This great waterfall attracts thousands of visitors every year and for a good reason – according to the World of Waterfalls, it is one of the top ten best waterfalls in the world. Now it is time to soak in a natural hot pool. The locals call this the “secret lagoon” because it was known only to them for a long time. Now you have a chance to bathe in this outstanding pool in magical surroundings. After a nice hot bath, we had back to Reykjavik over the Hellisheiði pass. You can expect to be at your accommodation place at 7 PM.
